Dutch ventilation manufacturer Abbi-Aerotech has introduced its next-generation dairy barn fan, the Abbifan 140-XXP-31, designed to improve ventilation efficiency while reducing noise and energy use. The new model has been independently tested by Germany’s Bavarian State Research Centre for Agriculture and is designed to provide consistent airflow to reduce heat stress in dairy cows.
The unit consumes 0.53kW at maximum output, compared with around 1.1kW for some alternative systems, helping to reduce running costs depending on electricity prices and usage.
